All sorts of sneakers styles and marketing ploys are used to try to augment the sneaker, but it is obvious that they are simply just ploys. And what's this business with the elevated heel? Sneakers, at last, had flat soles, certainly the most natural and efficient (not to mention safe) configuration for athletic activity. Now, almost all athletic shoes have the convention-bound elevated heels of their Terrene cousins. Before all these embellished shoes we all thought that Converse were the best sneakers. They were the most comfortable, and were very long-wearing. I, for one, am glad they have not been altered in the course of time.

"Perfect sneaker - If you are going to buy your first pair make sure they are the right size--I have to wear a half size smaller in these shoes. I love this shoe though, I have them in black, light green, dark green, red, orange, turquiose and two-toned. I don't think i will ever stop getting more colors. I don't suggest running track or doing sports in them though. These sneakers are perfect for everything eles and you can wear a pair of them for a long time with very low maintenance."
